Dear BMW enthusiast,
As always we would like to welcome all old and new customers to Moto-Bins and our entirely revised 2007/8 Catalogue.

At this moment, March 2007, it is three years since the publication of our last printed catalogue. This is a long time by any measure, however we have kept to the same format in the Catalogue and the same business formula. By putting you first, we hope to keep the cordial relationship that we enjoy with all our customers from all parts of the world. This has been built up over the previous twenty-two years of service to the BMW enthusiast.

From your feedback, it seems that Moto-Bins and our Catalogue are inextricably linked! However, new for this year not only is the entire catalogue printed in our normal format, but also we include the catalogue on a CD which can be run from the disc or installed on your computers hard drive (The CD is guaranteed virus free!).

You will see that the life of this Catalogue is deliberately intended for two years for the first time. Inevitably the odd part will become unavailable by the end of 2008 but we will do our best to keep to the Catalogue prices. We are pleased to announce that most of our postage rates remain the same for the 4th year running.

Now that so many of you (but we realise, not all) have access to the Internet you will find the complete Catalogue there with any revisions and our latest news and many special offers as well. We also have the lively forum. We have increased the number of Links to our suppliers. Photographs of most of our accessories, kits and many parts can be seen on our website. These items are highlighted in the printed catalogue, on the CD and on the web pages by a camera icon at the side of their price. Our comprehensive website also enables you to place orders in a very easy way, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Unlike most other European countries we have not converted our currency to the Euro and therefore all prices are shown in £ sterling. Due to the fluctuating value of the £ against the Euro we do not intend to publish a price list in Euros yet.

As previously this catalogue is split into 4 sections starting with the 2v 1970-95 twins and K series. This is followed by sections on the F650 series and R850/R1100/R1150 & R1200 series. The last section of hints and tips covers all of the models. At the back of the printed catalogue is a detailed alphabetical index. Finally we list the basic specification on all models built since 1970 to present.

We have shown the price of each part with and without Value Added Tax (VAT). We have always been made to charge VAT on all parts and postage, except for books. Please remember that VAT is a tax we are obliged to charge you and pass on directly to the government. It only applies to EEC countries, so for all of you living outside the EEC we will not charge it, however it is probable that there will be a local customs duty, which will vary according to country. If you live in the EEC and your local rate of VAT is different i.e. 20% in Italy you will not be required pay the difference.

At the time of printing the new catalogue the EEC VAT rate remains @ 15.0% (only books are excluded) Should the rate be changed up or down (unlikely) we will be obliged to charge the new rate with immediate effect. Any news on the VAT rates will be posted on our website.
